loved this inn! staff was super helpful, comfy rooms with big bathrooms, yummy pizzas from their own oven, and a great breakfast. perfect location to explore on foot, and it's quiet with a beautiful mountain view. bonus: there's a cute kitty!

Fantastic location in the middle of Xingping within easy access of the dock, the bus station and Lao Zhai Hill. Hostel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - a special mention goes to Maya, who really did her utmost to take care of us. She always had our best interests in mind, even if it meant losing a night in their Guilin sister hostel so we could spend more time at the Longji Rice Terraces. Rooms were clean, air-conditioned and the beds were comfortable. All seemed to be recently renovated. The food at their cafe (located a few blocks away) was fantastic and well-presented; we ate there every single day.

This Hostel Staff was extrimly helpfull, nice and friendly. They where very flexibel, because we wanted a quit room, which we got. The Old Place Café-Restaurant Staff is also very friendly. And the food good. Our stay there was a highlight in our travel in China.

This place was exactly what we were looking for - a clean, comfortable room at a great rate with an amazing view from the balcony (as well as from the roof terrace) and friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely stay here agian if we return.

This hotel is great value for money, with prices that won't break the bank. The staff at this hotel are lovely and very helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The location is perfect for exploring Xingping, with the river front, pedestrian street, and a climbable karst all nearby. The basic amenities provided in the rooms, including the toilet with slightly transparent glass walls, are just what you need for a comfortable stay.

The staff was incredibly helpful, assisting us in planning our day trips without us even asking. The rooftop at the inn was a cool place to hang out and the views of the Li River were breathtaking. Despite a small insect in our bed, the staff immediately gave us another room, ensuring our comfort. we found the inn to be a great value for money with a perfect location for exploring the area. I highly recommend this place for a memorable stay.

The rooms may be cozy, but they are incredibly comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower is pure bliss after a long day exploring. The location is unbeatable, right near the river and charming streets of the town. Don't miss the breathtaking view from the hill behind the inn. The common area is a hub for meeting fellow travelers and the food is absolutely delicious. Additionally, the staff are super friendly and full of helpful information.

I had an amazing stay with friendly staff who provided excellent information about the area. The location near the pier where you can see the sunset was fantastic. The hotel facilities were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was superb. It was awesome to be close to many restaurants in this charming area.

We got great value for our money at This Old Place Li-River Inn in Xingping. The room was beautifully decorated and cozy, and the location was perfect for hiking and boat trips. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, always ready to answer our questions and provide helpful information.

We had a fantastic experience at Xingping This Old Place Li-River Inn. The location was perfect, just seconds away from the boat jetty and with a stunning view of the sunset over the '20 yuan' mountains from the rooftop. The staff were incredibly helpful and assisted us in planning our daily activities. Despite a small inconvenience with the bathroom layout and room lighting, our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We even had a delicious wood-fired pizza in the cafe. I highly recommend this hotel for its great location and helpful staff.
